HQ No 222 Group Personnel, locations and units


[Jul 1942 | Dec 1943 | Jun 1944 | Jun 1945]

This Group was formed on 1 April 1941 at National Mutual Building, Chatham Street in Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka), although it was not formally formed until 1 September.  It was transferred from the control of Air Forces Ceylon to HQ Air Forces in India on 20 December 1941.  On 21 March 1942 the Naval Office moved to Baurs Building and on 31 March to Colombo Secretariat.
