HQ No 223 Group Personnel, locations and units


[Jul 1942 | Dec 1943 | Jun 1944 | Jun 1945]

This Group was formed on on 9 August 1941 from AHQ Far East at Singapore, moving to Kuala Lumper two days later where it was redesignated Norgroup on 24 November.

It was reformed at Palembang in mid January 1942 to control air operations over Sumatra but was redesignated No 225 Group on 17 January.

It reformed again on 1 May 1942 at Peshawar from No 1 (Indian) Group to administer units operating along the North-West Provence of India.
