He was observer to Lt P C Saxby in DH9, C6202 of No 104 Sqn during a raid on the BASF works in Manheim.  On re-crossing the lines the aircraft came under attack from AA fire and on landing, it was discovered that Moorhouse had been hit and killed, he is buried at Charmes Military Cementery, Essegney.

He was the observer to Lt P M Payson in A2131 of No 55 Sqn on a raid against railway targets in Luxembourg.  After dropping their bombs, they were attacked by enemy fighters and Lee was killed in the initial attack.  His pilot placed his aircraft underneath another for protection and managed to get back to the airfield.  He is buried in Charmes Military Cemetery, Essegney.

He was the pilot of DH4, A7466 of No 55 Sqn on a raid against Treves.  Over the target the formation was attacked by enemy fighters and in the rear position Legge took much of the punishment, being seen to leave the formation under control.  They were pursued by two fighters and crashed in flames, both men being killed.  He is buried in Cologne Southern Cemetery.

He was the pilot of DH9, D7229 of No 104 Sqn on a raid against railway workshops at Thionville.  On the return journey AA fire hit the aircraft of 2 Lt F H Beaufort and his aircraft folded up and fell onto that of Leyden with both aircraft plummeting to the ground killing all four occupants.  He is buried in Perreuse Chateau Franco British National Cemetery.
