"SHAPCOTT, Morton Swan, G/C (Royal Air Force) - Norfolk House, Allied Expeditionary Air Force.

This officer has for 18 months been employed on the Administrative Planning Staff, working in conjunction with the Army and Navy Staffs for operations against North Western Europe.  With only a small nucleus staff he has shown persistent devotion to his work well beyond the call of normal duty and his ability and perseverance have gone a long way towards attaining the results achieved."
