HQ British Forces in Palestine and Transjordan Personnel, units and locations

Sometime between July 1935 and July 1936, this HQ was formed by raising HQ Transjordan and Palestine to Command status as HQ British Forces in Palestine and Transjordan.

On 15 September 1936 the responsibility for the defence of Palestine and Transjordan was transferred to the War Office, although the AOC, RAF in Palestine and Transjordan remained directly responsible to the GOC for the general conduct of operations by all unit in the Command.
