He was serving at the Home Aircraft Depot, Henlow when he was found dead having gassed himself in the oven of his bungalow.  At the time he was suffering from 'anxiety neurosis' and was in fear of dying from heart disease.

He was killed whilst flying Fairey IIIF, S1400 of No 822 Sqn, which force landed in the sea near the Isle of Wight.  He was hit by the float and killed as was Tel J A Hunter RN whilst Lt J B Kitkat RN was unhurt.

He was serving as an Armament Officer at HQ RAF Middle East and killed whilst flying Fairey IIIF, K1776 of No 35 Sqn, when it spun into the ground near Gebbit as it came out of cloud.  The other two members of the crew, Flt Lt P V Edwards and LAC F Campling were also killed.  He is buried in Khartoum War Cemetery.

He was killed whilst flying Wapiti IIA, J9391 of No. 60 Sqn when he hit high ground whilst flying in cloud near Etah, United Provinces, India.  The aircraft burst into flames and was burnt out, his gunner was Cpl. A C Wood, who was injured.

Robert Humphrey Page was safe.  He is buried in Amesbury Cemetery.

He was killed whilst flying Hart, K4986 of No 7 FTS when he flew into a hanger at Peterborough as aresult of losing height during a loop.  His passenger, AC1 Harold Eric Smith-Langridge was also killed as was LAC Percy Cuthbert, who was in the hanger at the time.  Another airman in the hanger, LAC Stanley Arthur Rollason King was severely injured and died the following day in the Memorial Hospital, Peterborough.

He was killed whilst working in a hanger at Peterborough when it was struck by Hart, K4986 of No 7 FTS, flown by Flt Lt Ernest Dawson as a result of him losing height during a loop.  The pilot and his passenger, LAC Percy Cuthbert, were also killed.  Another airman in the hanger, LAC Stanley Arthur Rollason King was severely injured and died the following day in the Memorial Hospital, Peterborough.

He died in No. 3 General Hospital, San Stefano, from injuries received in an flying accident at Aboukir on 22 May 1936, whilst flying Hawker Osprey, K3642 of No. 447 (Fleet Spotter Reconnaissance) Flight, H.M.S. London.  He suffered an engine failure on take off but having insufficent speed he stalled and crashed into the sea, the aircraft bursting into flames.  His observer, Lt. John Bridgewater Kitcat, RN was not injured.

He was severely injured whilst flying as the crewman in Vildebeest, K4608 of No 22 Sqn when it stalled on take off from Hal Far in Malta following an engine failure and died later that day in the Royal Naval Hospital, Malta.  His pilot, Fg Off J A Sutherland was killed in the accident.  He is buried in Pieta Military Cemetery.

He was severely injured and died three days later as the result of an accident whilst he was flying in Vincent, K4120 of No 84 Sqn on 22 Jun 1936.  At the time the aircraft was conducting a camera gun practice, when it hit the ground at Shaibah in Iraq.  He died in the Royal Air Force General Hospital at Hinaidi.  He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.

Douglas Elliott Mackintosh, The Royal Canadian Corps of Signals.   Capt John Park Weir, R.A.M.C., and Capt. Thomas Brodie, Cheshire Regiment weer dangerously injured and Fg Off Norman de Warrenne Boult (pilot) and Capt. Duncan Scott Cochrane, R.A.M.C were seriously injured whilst LAC Thomas Sellars and Lt. Thomas Leslie Gwyther Charles, Essex Regiment were injured.

He was severely injured whilst flying in Audax, K5227 of No 3 FTS, being flown by LAC F Innes, during an attack on targets on the Theddlethorpe ranges, when it stalled and crashed into sand hills.  He died in Louth and District Hospital two days later.
