He was flying
DH9A, E8751 of No 4 FTS when he was involved in a flying accident near Abu
Sueir in which he and his passenger, AC1 Arthur Thomas Groom were seriously
injured. However, he died of his injuries later that day. |

He was the passenger in DH9A, E8751 of
No 4 FTS when it struck the mast of a boat in the Suez Canal whilst low
flying the previous day, in which he and his pilot, Plt Off C Woodbyrne
were seriously injured. However, he died of his injuries the following
day. He is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery. |
