A Fitter (Aero Engine), he was seriously injured in a flying accident whilst flying as a passenger Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of the Aircraft Depot, Karachi.  The pilot, Fg Off C P M B Caillard was killed.  He died of his injuries shortly afterwards.

He was the pilot of an unidentified DH9A of No 4 FTS and was seriously injured when the aircraft stalled after spinning and crashed at Abu Sueir.  He died later that day and is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery. His passenger, Plt Off Sweeting was also killed.

He died after his aircraft, Sopwith Gnu, G-EAGP of the Lloyd Aviation Company, crashed during a wing-walking demonstration at Kings Lynn.  The wing-walker, Mr George Mark Lloyd, was seriously injured and a passenger on board, escaped injury by leaping from the aircraft just before it hit the ground.

PACKMAN, STANLEY ARTHUR RAFO

He had been a Major during WW1 and was employed as an instructor with the Newcastle Flying Club at the time of his death.  He was flying a Gnosspelius Gull monoplane and came over the airfield at low level.  Attempting to avoid a small building he appears to have stalled and dived into the ground, being thrown from the aircraft and landing on his head, fracturing his skull and was killed.

He was flying as a passenger in Vernon III, JR7143 of No 45 Sqn when the starboard engine failed on take off at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield.  He was killed in the crash.  During WW1 he was credited with 13 victories (although Flight in 1926 quoted 32).  He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid RAF Cemetery.

He was injured in a flying accident at Peshawar on 1 Oct 1926, whist flying Bristol F2B, J6631 of No 20 Sqn, when it crashed and caught fire.  He died of his injuries four days later.  His passenger, LAC George Cairns received minor injuries.
