1 Feb	Wg Cdr	LYONS, THOMAS OWEN OBE	He died from the after effects of service during WW1 and in Iraq. At the time of his death, he was serving at No 4 Stores Depot.
6 Feb	Fg Off	TREMELLEN, ARTHUR CLEVERTON	He was killed in a flying accident at Heliopolis whilst flying Bristol Fighter, xxxxx. His passenger Flt Lt S P Simpson was seriously injured. He is buried in Cairo New British Protestant Cemetery.
11 Feb	Fg Off	HANCOX, HENRY ROGER	He was flying Flycatcher, N9892 of No 402 Flt, when it spun into the ground at Hal Far in Malta on 10 Feb 1926. He died from his injuries the following day.
12 Feb	Sqn Ldr	HORSLEY-CARR, ALFRED GEORGE OBE	He was killed in a flying accident at Porton, near Salisbury whilst flying in Vimy, xxxxx, piloted by Sgt William Norman Pink who was slightly injured. AC2 Clifford Bartlett Cardall was unijured.

26 Feb	Flt Lt	HEMMING, GEOFFREY WILLIAM	He was flying a Fairey IIID from the RAF Base Calshot when he was involved in a flying accident during which he was seriously injured, dying later the same day.

28 Feb	Fg Off	COLLINS, ROBERT	He was flying in a Fairey IIID from the RAF Base Calshot when he was involved in a flying accident on 26 Feb 1926 during which he was seriously injured, dying two days later.

5 Mar	Fg Off	CAILLARD, CAMILLE PERCY MAURICE BENJAMIN	He was killed in a flying accident whilst flying Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of the Aircraft Depot, Karachi.
5 Mar	LAC	BARRON, ANDREW	He was seriously injured in a flying accident whilst flying as a passenger Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of the Aircraft Depot, Karachi. The pilot, Fg Off C P M B Caillard was killed. He died of his injuries shortly afterwards.
26 Mar	Plt Off	SWEETING, IVAN RANDOLPH	He was flying as a passenger in an unidentified DH9A of No 4 FTS, when the aircraft stalled after spinning at Abu Sueir. The pilot, Sgt R Horrocks was also killed. He is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery.
26 Mar	Sgt	HORROCKS, RUPERT	He was the pilot of an unidentified DH9A of No 4 FTS and was seriously injured when the aircraft stalled after spinning and crashed at Abu Sueir. He died later that day and is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery. His passenger, Plt Off Sweeting was also killed.

30 Mar	Fg Off	BRYAN, THOMAS LAWE GUY	He was landing aboard HMS Hermes in Fairey IIID, N9758, when his aircraft went over the side of the ship and he was drowned.
31 Mar	Fg Off	WILLSON, REGINALD JOHN	He was flying Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 28 Sqn when he was involved in a flying accident at Quetta. He died of his injuries shortly after the accident.

4 Apr	Plt Off	LLOYD, DAVID JOHN	He was killed whilst flying DH9A, E8648 of No 60 Sqn, which crashed at Arawali. His passenger, Lt Walter John Vezey RE was also killed.

10 Apr	Fg Off	LACEY, CHARLES VICTOR AFC	He was the pilot of Vimy, F9184 of the Inland Aircraft Depot at Halton, which was involved in a mid-air collision with Avro 504K, H9535 piloted by Fg Off W Scott, also of the Inland Aircraft Depot. Lacey and his three crew were all killed in the ensuing crash.

10 Apr	LAC	GERMAIN, REGINALD RICHARD	He was the one of the crew of Vimy, F9184 of the Inland Aircraft Depot at Halton, piloted by Fg Off C V Lacey, which was involved in a mid-air collision with Avro 504K, H9535 , piloted by Fg Off W Scott. All the crew of the Vimy were killed in the ensuing crash.

14 May	Fg Off	YOUNG, STUART ADOLPHUS	He was injured in an night flying accident whilst flying Snipe, E8384 of No 1 Sqn when it caught fire in the air on 13 May 1926 and died from his injuries the following day. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.

17 May	LAC	COX, SYDNEY MARSH	He was killed in a flying accident whilst flying as the gunner in Fawn, J7221 of No 12 Sqn which spun in whilst landing at Andover, the pilot being Sgt R E Hawkins.

9 Jun	LAC	WARWICK, H K	He was killed when he fell 1,000 ft from an unidentified Avro 504K of No 4 FTS and is buried in Cairo New British Protestant Cemetery. One source states this happened on 9 Apr 1926, whilst his gravestone states 9 Jun.

16 Jun	Fg Off	ADDAMS, ANTHONY CLIFFORD	He was killed in a flying accident at Northolt whilst flying Siskin, xxxxx of No 41 Sqn.
24 Jun	Fg Off	PACKMAN, STANLEY ARTHUR RAFO	He had been a Major during WW1 and was employed as an instructor with the Newcastle Flying Club at the time of his death. He was flying a Gull monoplane and came over the airfield at low level. Attempting to avoid a small building he appears to have stalled and dived into the ground, being thrown from the aircraft and landing on his head, fracturing his skull and was killed.

3 Jul	LAC	MILLER, FREDERICK WILLIAM	He was seriously injured in a flying accident on 2 Jul 1926 at Weston Zoyland when flying in Fawn, J7191 of No 100 Sqn, piloted by Fg Off H V Alder. He died from his injuries the following day.

19 Jul	Fg Off	HUGHES, DAVID ARTHUR RAFO	An instructor at Whitley aerodrome, he was killed whilst flying Siskin V G-EBLQ belonging to Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft Ltd, when it dived into the ground following a structural failure during a roll.
26 Jul	Flt Lt	BRADING, REGINALD CAREY BRINTON DFC	He was flying as a passenger in Vernon, J7143 of No 45 Sqn when the starboard engine failed on take off at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield. He was killed in the crash. During WW1 he was credited with 13 victories (although Flight in 1926 quoted 32). He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
26 Jul	Sqn Ldr	POLLARD, ERIC MILLER	The OC of No 6 Armoured Car Company, he was flying as a passenger in Vernon, J7143 of No 45 Sqn when the starboard engine failed on take off at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield. He was killed in the crash. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
26 Jul	Fg Off	STIRLING WEBB, OSWALD KEMPSON	He was one of the two pilots of Vernon, J7143 of No 45 Sqn when the starboard engine failed on take off at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield. He was killed in the crash. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
26 Jul	Sgt	KENNEDY, EDGAR	A member of No 30 Sqn, he was flying as a passenger in Vernon, J7143 of No 45 Sqn when it was involved in an accident at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield. He was killed in the crash. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
26 Jul	AC1	DAVIS, HORACE LESLIE	He was flying as a crew member of Vernon, J7143 of No 45 Sqn when the starboard engine failed on take off at Hinaidi, crashing into No 1 Sqn hanger on the airfield. He was severely injured in the crash and died later that day. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.

1 Aug	LAC	CRUNDEN, WILLIAM EDWARD	He was flying in Bristol Fighter, J6640 of No 31 Sqn, flown by Fg Off J C Macey, when they were involved in an accident at Multan in India. He was severely injured and died later that day.

19 Aug	Flt Lt	JUNOR, HUGH ROBERT DFC	He was killed whilst flying Gamecock, J7906 of No 43 Sqn which was on a test flight when it crashed owing to wing flutter at Cheltenham.

31 Aug	Plt Off	PAGE, ALFRED LIONEL RENE	He was killed in a flying accident at Marchwood, Hants, whilst flying Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 16 Sqn. His gunner, LAC E A L Lowe was seriously injured and died the following day.
1 Sep	LAC	LOWE, ERIC ARTHUR LISTER	He was flying with Plt Off A L R Page in Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 16 Sqn, when they were involved in a flying accident at Marchwood, Hants on 31 Aug 1926. He was seriously injured an died the following day in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Netley.
1 Sep	Fg Off	Du PORT, WILLIAM OSMOND	He was killed in a flying accident at Hinaidi, whilst flying DH9A, xxxxx of No 55 Sqn. His gunner, LAC W A Pearse was seriously injured and died the following day. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
2 Sep	LAC	PEARSE, WILLIAM ARTHUR	He was flying with Fg Off W O Du Port in DH9A, xxxxx of No 55 Sqn, when they were involved in a flying accident at Hinaidi on 1 Sep 1926. He was seriously injured an died the following day. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery.
10 Sep	Fg Off	REEDMAN, REGINALD RICHARD	He was killed in a flying accident at Tilshead, Wiltshire whilst flying Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 2 Sqn. His passenger, Maj Oliver Birkbeck RA, was seriously injured
14 Sep	Plt Off	SHERMAN, DICK CULVERWELL	He was killed in a flying accident near Lahore whilst Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 31 Sqn.
20 Sep	Fg Off	LUXMOORE, HENRY FREDERICK	He was killed in a flying accident whilst undertaking low level aerobatics at Biggin Hill in Grebe, J7584 of No 56 Sqn.
22 Sep	AC1	JONES, PERCY	He was flying as the gunner in Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 5 Sqn, piloted by Fg Off Denniss Robinson, when they force landed in the River Indus. Fg Off Robinson managed to reach the bank with minor injuries but AC1 Jones is presumed to have drowned.

5 Oct	Fg Off	NICHOLLS, PHILIP HEDGELAND	He was injured in a flying accident at Peshawar on 1 Oct 1926, whist flying Bristol Fighter, J6631 of No 20 Sqn, when it crashed and caught fire. He died of his injuries four days later. His passenger, LAC George Cairns received minor injuries.

18 Oct	Fg Off	BINGHAM-HALL, VINCENT BINGHAM	He was killed in a flying accident at Moascar in Egypt, whilst flying Bristol Fighter, C802 of No 208 Sqn. His gunner, Marine William Higgins was also killed. He is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery.
21 Oct	Fg Off	LAY, HUGH NELSON (Lt RN)	He was drowned when Bison, N9969 of No 423 Flt, which he was piloting came down in the sea 5 miles from Valetta, Malta. Also drowned were Lt J E S Anderson RN, Lt H L Carslake RN and Tel R W Gibbs RN.

22 Nov	Plt Off	MICHIE, JOHN STUART MERSON RAFO	He was the ground engineer to the London Aeroplane Club and he was flying with one of the club's instructors S L F St Barbe on a test flight of a DH Moth following maintenance. The aircraft crashed and he was killed, whilst the pilot was seriously injured.

7 Dec	Fg Off	WHEATLEY, GILBERT VERNON	He was killed whilst flying Gamecock, J7891 of No 22 Sqn, A&AEE, which crashed when the wings broke off following a terminal velocity dive during tests at Martlesham Heath.
9 Dec	Fg Off	PURVIS, JOHN HARRY CAMPBELL	He was killed whilst flying an unidentified Grebe of No 25 Sqn, which was involved in a mid-air collision, resulting in him losing control and diving into the ground at Terlingham Manor Farm, near Hawkinge.
11 Dec	Fg Off	MAUDE, MAURICE ANTHONY (Lt RN)	He died following a shooting accident at Kowloon in Hong Kong. He was in command of a detached flight of seaplanes in Hong Kong at the time of his death.

29 Dec	LAC	OVERY, CYRIL ARTHUR	He was flying as gunner in Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 28 Sqn, piloted by Flt Lt A N MacNeal, when it was involved in an accident at Ambala. He died of his injuries later that day.
29 Dec	Fg Off	MACNEAL, ALASTAIR NEIL (Hon Flt Lt)	He was piloting Bristol Fighter, xxxxx of No 28 Sqn when it was involved in an accident at Ambala. He died of his injuries later that day.
31 Dec	Flt Lt	LONGINOTTO, ERNEST VINCENT AFC	He died aboard the SS Khiva at Singapore from pneumonia, which he contracted whilst returning from Japan. He is buried in Kranji Military Cemetery, Singapore.
