11 Mar	Flt Lt	TILMAN, KENNETH CROMAR	He was killed flying as the observer in Parnell Panther, N7461 of No 442 Flt, which went over the side of HMS Argus on take off. His pilot, Plt Off R Lewes was slightly injured. He is buried in Mallorca and part of the aircraft's propeller has been placed as a memorial to him (see photos below). 17 Mar	LAC	TURNER, KENNETH	He was serving as a Wireless Operator at AHQ, Iraq when he died, cause unknown, in the RAF General Hospital, Hinaidi and is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid RAF Cemetery.
19 Mar	Cpl	RYAN, MICHAEL JOSEPH	He was serving as a Fabric Worker when he was 'killed by persons unknown' whilst serving with No 216 Sqn and is buried in Cairo New British Protestant Cemetery.
29 Mar	Plt Off	PELLEW, EDWARD HUMPHREY LANGFORD	He died in Addenbrookes Hospital following an operation for injuries sustained when his motorcycle collided with a car and is buried in Warmwell (Holy Trinity) Churchyard.

2 Apr	Sgt	MURRAY, ARCHIBALD CRAWFORD	He was killed whilst flying DH9A, E8661 of No 4 FTS, which spun into the ground after stalled at low altitude, he is buries in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery.
4 Apr	Plt Off	PLEDGER, JACK HAMILTON	He was on a training flight in Bristol Fighter, D7816 of No 1 FTS at Netheravon, flying at about 1,000 ft, when his aircraft caught fire and dived into the ground at West Kennett near Marlborough. He was thrown from the aircraft and killed.

12 Apr	Flt Lt	KEMP, WILLIAM HORACE ERNEST AFC	He was killed, whilst serving with No 84 Sqn, possibly whilst flying DH9A, J552, which stalled on take off. He is buried in Basra (Makina) R.A.F. Cemetery.

26 Jun	Fg Off	CREAMER, REGINALD CYRIL DFC	He was killed whilst flying DH9A, H151 of No 14 Sqn, which spun into the ground at landing Ground 'D' and burst into flames and is buried in Ramleh War Cemetery.
26 Jun	LAC	PERRIN, FRANK CHARLES	He was serving as a Wireless Operator with HQ Trans-Jodania when he was killed whilst flying in DH9A, H151 of No 14 Sqn, which spun into the ground at landing Ground 'D' and burst into flames and is buried in Ramleh War Cemetery.

29 Jul	Flt Cdt	ASPINALL, HARRY HOWARTH	He was killed whilst flying Bristol F2B, F4552 of the RAF Cadet College, Cranwell, which spun into the ground at Cold Harbour, near Spittlegate.
30 Jul	AC1	SLACK, PERCY	He was severely injured whilst flying in a Bristol Fighter of No 28 Sqn piloted by Fg Off E Bell, which flew into a hill at Duncan's Picquet in fog and its bombs exploded. He died from his injuries two days later.
31 Jul	LAC	MASKELL, GEORGE WILLIAM	He was serving as a Rigger (Aero) and was killed whilst flying in Fairey Fawn II, J6990 of 11 Sqn, which spun into the ground from 200ft at Netheravon.
4 Aug	Fg Off	MORPHY, DOUGLAS McGILLYCUDDY	He was killed when Bristol Fighter, D8057 of No 28 Sqn, which crashed following engine failure at Peshawar.
4 Aug	AC	COOK, BENJAMIN	He was with No 2 Wireless Station, but may have been flying with Fg Off D McG Morphy in Bristol Fighter, D8057 of No 28 Sqn at the time of his death. He is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid R.A.F. Cemetery
5 Aug	LAC	COBLEY, L	He was serving at the Aircraft Depot, Iraq and was killed in a motor cycle accident, he is buried in Ma'asker Al Raschid RAF Cemetery. His service records have not yet been located.
5 Aug	LAC	HALL, ALFRED PERCY (342289)	He was serving with No 24 Sqn but had been reported AWOL when his body was found in a lake at the Marquis of Northampton's estate, Castle Ashby, having drowned.
6 Aug	Plt Off	HALL, GEOFFREY SHEWELL	He was killed whilst flying a Bristol F2B, of No 2 FTS, which crashed at RAF Digby. He apparently erroneously pushed the fuel cock to 'off', and stalled whilst attempting a turn.
12 Aug	Plt Off	HILLIER, CHRISTOPHER ERNEST	He was killed whilst flying as the passenger in Bristol Fighter, C806 of No 5 FTS, which dived inverted into the ground near Sealand, during an instrument flying test.

22 Sep	Plt Off	HALL, STANLEY EDWARD	He was killed whilst flying Avro 504K, E9379 of No 4 FTS when he spun in at Abu Sueir in Egypt. He is buried in Ismailia War Memorial Cemetery.
2 Oct	Fg Off	BOUSFIELD, COLIN	He was killed whilst flying Bristol Fighter, J6606 of No 14 Sqn when it spun in from 300 ft at Heliopolis. He is buried in Cairo New British Protestant Cemetery.
2 Oct	Fg Off	STIRLING, ARCHIBALD HAY	He was killed whilst flying Bristol F2B, F4572 of No 13 Sqn which crashed at Penton Mewsey, Wiltshire. Flying at 2,000 ft he began a spiral descent, but failed to flatten out and consequently flew into the ground. LAC Turton was also killed in this crash.
2 Oct	LAC	TURTON, WILLIAM JAMES ARTHUR	He was killed flying as the crewman of Bristol F2B, F4572 of No 13 Sqn which crashed at Penton Mewsey, Wiltshire, flown by Fg Off A H Stirling, who was also killed. Flying at 2,000 ft he began a spiral descent, but failed to flatten out and consequently flew into the ground.

15 Oct	Flt Cdt	HENRY, JOHN EDWARD (JACK)	He died of Meningitis at the RAF Central Hospital, Finchley whilst undergoing training at the RAF College, Cranwell.
