In the list below some non-commissioned personnel are shown with two ranks, the first is generally that shown in the CWGC Register whilst the one in brackets is that shown on their records or what it should have become on 1 January 1919 when the RAF introduced a new rank/classification structure for non-commissioned personnel.  Where only one rank is shown this appears on both the CWGC register and the service records.

He died, cause unknown, whilst serving as a Labourer with the ACS at Pulham Airship Station and is buried in King Cross Methodist Chapelyard.

He was found drowned in the River Ouse at Overton, near York whilst serving with No 2 Stores Distribution Park and is buried in Fulford Cemetery.  He had been reduced to the rank of Sergeant on 22 Aug 1919, but whether this had any influence on his death is unknown.
