1 Jun 52	MITCHELL, LAURENCE JAMES (49031) age: 42	Flt Lt	He was serving at RAF Kenley at the time of his death, the circumstances of which have yet to be ascertained, however his death was registered in Northampton. He was cremated at Milton Crematorium, Northampton
1 Jun 52	CHAMBERS, RONALD ERIC (4092802) age: 18	AC2	He was serving at RAF Wittering and was drowned in the River Ouse at Hemingford Abbot near St Ives when he attempted to rescue a colleague who could not swim, when their boat sunk during a race. He is buried in Carlton Cemetery, Nottingham.

3 Jun 52	GOWEN, PETER JAMES (4060096) age: 19	AC2	He was serving at RAF Swanton Morley and was killed whilst travelling as a passenger in car, on his way home on leave, when it collided with a lorry near Norwich. He is buried in All Saints Churchyard, Swanton Morley.
