07-Oct	WILSON, ROBERT RAFVR (1000701), age: Unknown	Sgt	He was serving at RAF Hemswell and died in the John Coupland Hospital, Gainsborough, from head injuries received the previous night when he fell off his bike while cycling down Hemswell Hill. He is buried in Wallsend (Holy Cross) Cemetery.

10-Oct	TUSTIN, ROY FREDERICK RAFVR (3000506), age: 22	Nav IV	He died from injuries sustained the previous day whilst flying in Mosquito B Mk 16, PF597 of No 231 OCU, which crashed shortly after taking off from East Kirkby having failed to climb away. He is buried in Coningsby Cemetery.

11-Oct	BUCHANAN, WILLIAM JOSEPH RAFVR (1906355), age: 22	AC2	He was serving at RAF Staverton and was fatally injured in an accident near the Hare and Hounds Inn, Cheltenham Road. He is buried in Gloucester Old Cemetery.
11-Oct	GRIFFITHS, HARRY B. RAFVR (1478871), age: 26	LAC	He was serving with HQ, No 23 Group and died on the way to hospital after having shot himself. Two days earlier he had been shot and wounded his WAAF girlfriend after a dance, and was cornered by civilian and RAF police at Oxenden Camp near Leighton Buzzard. He is buried in Liverpool (Kirkdale) Cemetery.
