He was probably killed whilst flying in Liberator VI, KG911 of No 203 Sqn, which failed to return from an anti-shipping sortie off Sumatra.  He is commemorated on the Singapore Memorial

He was serving with No 241 Sqn, and died in the 33rd American Field Hospital after being transferred from the SSQ suffering from the effects of the heat.  He is buried in Padua War Cemetery.

He was serving at RAF Bruntingthorpe and was killed when he collided with a lorry at the junction of Banbury Road and Oxford Street, Southam whilst he was riding a motor-cycle.  He is buried in Odiham Cemetery.
