20-Apr	LAC	FLEMING, JAMES (1764015) RAFVR; age: 22	He was serving with No 39 MU and died in hospital from a blood clot on his lungs after surgery. He had been injured in a road accident on 4 April whilst in the back of a lorry. He is buried in Atherton Cemetery.
20-Apr	AC2	HAMME, JOHN (1891709) RAFVR; age: 32	He was serving with No 14 ITW and died at (RAF) Driffield Hospital following an operation to remove an umbilical sinus complicated by peritonitis. He is buried in Willesden Jewish Cemetery.
20-Apr	AC2	BIRCH, ALBERT HENRY (1245406) RAFVR; age: 37	He was serving at RAF Elgin but was killed when he was run over by a petrol bowser at RAF Millfield. He is buried in East London Cemetery, Plaistow.
20-Apr	AC1	BURSTON, HENRY ARTHUR (1089757) RAFVR; age: 32	He was serving at RAF Cardington but was killed in an air raid by an unexploded AA shell at Shepperton. He is buried in Suckley (St John the Baptist) Churchyard.
