11 Dec	WALLS, CHARLES LESLIE	AC2	He was serving at RAF Balderton and was killed when he was struck by a lorry driven by a fellow airman as he strolled towards his lunch on Spring Lane, Balderton. The inquest blamed the accident on a greasy, mud-caked road. He is buried in Ascot (All Saints) Churchyard Extension.

20 Dec	DAWES, EDWARD	Flt Lt	He was serving as an instructor with No 15 OTU and died in the RAF Hospital, Halton from injuries sustained when he fell from a window of Barcote House Dorchester on 12 December. He is buried in Rochester (St Margaret's) Cemetery.
20 Dec	McGLONE, PATRICK	Cpl	He was serving with No 1 (C) OTU and died in the City Hospital Carlisle from a duodenal perforation. He is buried in Kilbirnie Burial Ground.
20 Dec	CRITCHLOW, LESLIE JOHN	Cpl	He was serving at RAF Hereford and died in Northampton Hospital from injuries sustained in a collision on Watling Street. He is buried in Greenford Park Cemetery.
