Despite long hours of duty he has completed the Gunnery Leaders’ Course and is recognized as one of the leading authorities on this subject in the Royal Air Force. This officer, by his exceptional keenness and devotion to duty, has considerably improved the standard of air gunnery throughout the Royal Air Force."
