Purpose Storage plant providing a supply of compressed air for charging torpedo vessels.
Tractor Bedford OXC, Crossley or Commer Type Q tractors fitted with a Tasker ramp and coupling unit attachment.
Chassis construction Rolled steel channel section, electrically welded.  Three point suspension; forward end, Tasker semi-trailer coupling unit; jockey wheels for support of semi-trailer when detached from the tractor.  A welded steel tubular steel tow-bar, fitting into two lugs on the jockey wheel axle provides means for steering and towing the trailer for short distances when a tractor is not available.
Suspension Semi-elliptic springs underslung on main axle.
Brakes Internal expanding operated by single vacuum line from the tractor, or by hand brake through compensator unit.  A parking brake handle is fitted to the near side.
Jockey wheels Mechanism - The jockey wheel axle pivots on a vertical leg which is extended and retracted manually through a pair of bevel gears and a hand crank, one of the bevels operates on a screw thread on the leg.

Jockey wheels - 2 x 9 in diameter cast iron wheels.

Body Body - Cabin at forward end of chassis, welded steel frame construction , panelled with sheet metal.  Entry to the cabin by canvas curtains from the chassis platform.

Equipment - Water storage tanks, 170 gallons capacity.  Water pumping and circulating equipment.  Water temperature control for 30 gallons/hour.  Air conditioning plant.  Chemical tanks, sinks and circulating system.  Film-processing machine.

Body looked similar to that shown below on Tasker semi-trailer chassis.

Cabin- Length - 8 ft 6 in; Width - 7 ft 0 in; Height - 4 ft 7 in (front), 6 ft 5 in (rear);
