Cab - open type. The carrier tank is divided into two compartments of which the front one is for petrol (500 gallons) and the rear one for lubricating oil (50 gallons). The pumping equipment is located at the rear of the carrier tank and included two Varley pumps, an air separator and two Kent meters. The petrol pump is of the gear type and the oil pump of the rotor type, both pumps are driven by a Texrope drive from a shaft coupled to a PTO from the vehicle gearbox. The petrol delivery hose is 20 ft long and the oil delivery hose 15 ft long , two suction hoses, one 15 ft long and the other 6 ft long are provided for petrol and oil respectively. The pump capacities are 20 gpm (petrol) and 2-3 gph (oil). |

450-gallon elliptical section oil tank (Zwicky)
mounted direct to chassis. Compartments at each end of tank
shell to accommodate Lister 3 hp petrol engine in forward
compartment and Zwicky pump and pumping equipment in the rear
compartment. The petrol engine incorporates a centrifugal
clutch and power transmission to the pumps is by a chain reduction
gear and a transmission shaft beneath the tank. Filter,
flowmeter and air separator fitted in pump compartment.
Stowage boxes along side of tank to accommodate four 12 ft lengths
of 1½ in bore oil delivery hose and one 12 ft length of 2 in bore
suction hose. The pumping unit can be used for pumping oil
from an outside supply to the carrier tank, from the carrier tank to
a receiver tank or direct from an outside supply to a receiver tank.
