Body - Fitted with Carter's "Portland" Type 826 or
Southern "Easylift", two tier stretcher elevating gears which
can be stored when sitting case are being conveyed. Wash basin
with 2¼ gallon water storage tank and accommodation is also provided
for two medical boxes and a "Thomas" splint carrier. Air
conditioning is carried out with the aid of a Clayton Dewandre
heater and ventilators in the roof. Four interior lamps,
enclosed electric gong and searchlight. Two windows on each
side of body and one in each rear door made of Purdah blue laminated
or toughened safety glass. Cab - Enclosed steel panelled cab, seats for driver and one passenger with speaking tube to body. |
