RAF (Stores) Ref Nos were not given in this document but where they are shown, they have been assumed from later versions of AP2782.  This edition also did not include photos so these have been added from AP2782A.  When a vehicle appears in more than one edition of AP2782, the technical details have been assembled from all available data.

Body Body - Standard General Service body with flat floor except for low boxed wheel arches.  Detachable cover and superstructure could be erected in 'High' or 'Low' position, in the latter the top of the cover was below the level of the cab.  In the QLD certain sections of the chassis and body can be readily dismantled for transportation purposes.  Wooden plugs being provided in the tool kit for sealing the open ends of petrol and brake pipes when the vehicle is dismantled.
