 1 Jul 1944 No 351 Squadron was formed at Benina and took on the duties of an SFTS to complete the training of the Yugoslav pilots
 7 Jul 1944 SFTS course completed
8/9 Jul 1944 Pilots undertook 'Wings' examinations
18 Jul 1944 Squadron commenced training on Hurricane IICs
31 Jul 1944 The squadron MT vehicles were delivered, including 25 x 3-tonners and 3 x 15 cwt vehicles

xx Aug 1944 25 x Yugoslav recruits arrived from the Refugee camp at El Shatt between 28 Jul and 2 Aug 1944
30 Aug 1944 Advance party departed Benina

 3 Sep 1944 Advance party arrived at No 24 PTC
 5 Sep 1944 MT party departed No 24 PTC for embarkation
xx Sep 1944 Rear party moved from Benina to RAF Shallufa

Pilots delivered the Hurricane IICs to RAF Helwan, then proceeded to RAF Shallufa for further training

 7 Sep 1944 Rear party arrived at RAF Shallufa
 9 Sep 1944 Squadron was transferred to the control of HQ MAAF

Remainder of main party embarked for Taranto

11 Sep 1944 Squadron received 10 new Hurricane IVs and commenced RP training at No 5 METS

15 Sep 1944 Advance party arrived at Taranto, British personnel to No 53 PTC and Yugoslav personnel to Yugoslav Transit Camp
20 Sep 1944 British personnel moved to Canne
22 Sep 1944 Aircrew completed RP training

Main body of advance party arrived at Canne

25 Sep 1944 Advance party of aircraft and aircrew departed RAF Shallufa for Cannes

Main ground party departed RAF Shallufa for No 22 PTC

26 Sep 1944 MT party disembarked

 2 Oct 1943 Advance air party (8 x aircraft) arrived at Cannes, one aircraft being left at Catania

Aircraft were modified to carry a long range tank under starboard wing, limiting RPs to four on post wing

MT party arrived at Canne

13 Oct 1944 Operations commenced

Detachment of ground personnel proceeded to Vis to take over from No 6 Sqn

18 Oct 1944 Rear party embarked in the Middle East

Air detachment proceeded to Vis to take over from No 6 Sqn

20 Oct 1944 Rear air party (7 x aircraft) departed RAF Shallufa
23 Oct 1944 Rear party disembarked Taranto and proceeded to No 53 PTC
24 Oct 1944 Rear air party (7 x aircraft) arrived at Canne

Rear party arrived at Canne from No 53 PTC

Squadron now operating under No 281 Wing, Balkan Air Force

28 Oct 1944 54 x Yugoslav personnel posted to Noi 53 PTC for disposal pending arrival of trained personnel

 4 Nov 1944 14 x British personnel were posted to No 56 PTC for repatriation
December
xx Dec 1944 British personnel with the detachment on Vis were recalled and replaced by 14 Yugoslav personnel
31 Dec 1944 By this date a further 35 British personnel had been posted away
