Citation for the award of Officer of the Order of the British Empire.

"KEARON, Norman Walter, A/S/L (31334, Royal Air Force) - No 40 Air Stores Park

Squadron Leader Kearon has been entirely responsible for supplying forward units with technical and barrack stores.  During the rapid advance the excellent serviceability maintained has been due in no small measure to the equipment obtained and distributed by this officer when the only source of supply was hundreds of miles away.  Again, during the advance to Tripoli, through Squadron Leader Kearon’s personal drive and initiative, contact was maintained with the operational units of the Western Desert forces."
