No 106 Group controlled Coastal Command's Photo Reconnaissance assets and covered the whole of Northern Europe
*Aldergrove was under the
operational control of No 15 Group whilst housing a training unit of No 17
Group.
**Strubby was under the
operational control of No 16 Group whilst housing a Strike Wing of No 19 Group.
